We were sad to hear of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s passing last week and in today’s assembly, the Principal took the school on a journey to find out about her long life and shared interesting facts such as her favourite animals and that she took part in WWll as an ambulance driver. We also found out that some buildings in Hong Kong were named after her.
Inspired by the kindness of the Queen, the Principal discussed happiness with the aid of a pink bucket and showed us all a video about filling the invisible bucket of happiness that every person carries with them. He encouraged students to be “ bucket fillers” rather than “bucket dippers” and to aim to complete kind acts and brighten each others lives every day.
