Today it's theatre day! The excitement of seeing the performance of The Gruffalo has been building up for many days! On a #FantasticFriday, the whole school went to The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts to see The Gruffalo live on stage!
During the morning time, teachers led our students to go through classic picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler again. Then we all headed to the theatre to see the magical, musical adaptation of the classic childrens book. The Gruffalo is the perfect intro to theatre for kids! The whole performance never runs out of steam, the whole theatre was filled with laughter and applause!
Going along with our thematic based curriculum and our “Communication” theme for this half term, Theatre exposes young people to new vocabulary and ways of communicating. Through the arts of dance, acting, and music, all Oxbridge students learned how to communicate in a variety of unique ways!
