What a wonderful day! Thank you to the many parents, children, and friends who attended the ECA Open Day at Oxbridge School. With well over fifty new families registered to take part in our free taster activities, view our facilities, and meet our staff, the campus was an exciting, interesting, and fun place to be!
The ECA activities offering taster sessions today included Dance, Music, Coding, Yoga, Table Tennis, Basketball, Cambridge YLE English and Singing. In addition, our official school uniform suppliers, Untold Horizons, and school bus provider, Pat Lee Transportation, were in attendance. Delicious refreshments were provided by Chartwells.
There was a live question and answer session with two times GRAMMY AWARD winner Paul Phoenix, and parents enjoyed discussing with Paul his thoughts on how to inspire young children and help them to achieve success. The Principal's Welcome Speech outlined his vision for the school with the key message that "A happy student is a successful student" and he highlighted the benefits of Oxbridge School's extensive ECA programme. He was particularly pleased to see some of our newly enrolled students attending the day and taking part in ECA activities at their new school for the first time!
Children enjoyed the activities we offered and many new friends and fresh memories were made whilst parents enjoyed time exploring the ground and first floor classrooms of our school. Our ECA providers, trusted partners, and school staff worked hard to make this a very successful event and we look forward to the next one!
The Application desk was very busy with a number of fresh applications. Parents who applied for a place at the Open Day were given Priority status in our admission procedure, with a fast track to interview and assessment.
We hope that all of your questions were answered, but do contact us should you have any further queries or would like to take a personal tour of the school.
